I've been picked

I've been picked
Jodie picked me to tell 7 random things about myself. Here it goes:

1. Larry and I were engaged for 5 years and 6 months before we got married and no we did not live together during that time.

2. I love, love, love English Bulldogs...they are sooo cute and they have a certain smell about them that when you smell it you know its a bulldog.

3. My mom & my mother-in-law both live with us. Now you all know I must be CRAZY!!

4. I never passed gas in front of my husband until after we'd been married for 10 years...but now look out. He said have come you do that all the time and I said, Holy crap, I've been holding them in for 10 years they got to come out, I can't hold it in any longer!!" (gross, I know)

5. I have a BFF...her name is Robin Zerfing and we've been friends since 5th grade. Wow, that's 30 years!

6. Mandy uses a blanket that my Grandma Helen made it must be about 30 or 40 years old.

7. When I was about 7 I had an obsessive/compulsive problem with washing my hands. My family was on a road trip and we were eating lunch in the car. I couldn't wash my hands and I was freaking out so I decided to wash them with my spit...how clean was that!!

Now I pick Uncle Bob & George

Halloween

Hi Everyone!!
I wanted to post our Halloween Party!! We had all of Mandy & Madison's friends over for our 3rd annual Halloween Party. We had 23 kids over and we bobbed for apples, had a costume contest, we played games. It was a lot of fun for all of us...except the fact that it was 92 degrees outside!! Then we went trick or treating on Friday night that was fun but it was still hot. On Saturday we went to trunk or treat at church. The girls have enough candy to last til next year! Well I hope you had a good Halloween! See Ya!

Camping

Hey Y'all,
I wanted to share our camping trip to Big Bear with you. It was beautiful during the day but at night it was COLD!! around 26 degrees. Now I know all you peeps living in places other than Southern California are probably calling us wussies but we're not use to that kind of stuff! We stayed 2 nights and that was enough. It was my family, and friends of ours...Carla's family, Wendy's family, Teresa's family and Ben & Michelle, 23 of us in all. Larry caught 3 trout. Me & my friends kicked back around the campfire and had a great time. The kids had a blast...they were so dirty by the time we got home. See you all later!!
